We are currently recruiting for an Account Manager - National - Reporting to your Sales Director, you will support the growth of our wide-ranging client portfolio, which includes some of the biggest and best brands in the UK and Internationally from a wide range of industry sectors. Branded Merchandise experience is a must.

Applicants will be required to build and develop client relationships to enable the team to meet account sales targets.

You will have excellent communication skills: you must be fully-confident to take on a client-facing role with the necessary skills required to work with and manage clients, suppliers and colleagues.

The role requires passion and creative thinking to ensure that everything we do is a success.

In addition to the critical skills and experience that will be needed for this role, the right attitude is also of vital importance. You will be able to demonstrate confidence, positivity and a commitment to excellence in your work and to the success of Fluid Branding.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Generate sales among existing and new client accounts
  • Liaise with suppliers to source products to meet customers' requirements
  • Provide quotations and proposals working with our in house studio team
  • Work closely with our in-house production team to make sure orders are delivered
  • Achieve sales targets as agreed with manager

Skills required:

  • Superb communication skills both written and verbal
  • A polite and friendly manner
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Able to prioritise and manage several tasks at once
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Prior experience within a sales environment is desirable however not essential
  • A strong desire to achieve is extremely important

People Operations Manager, St Austell

Key Task and Purpose

To lead Fluid's HR and Organisational Development (OD) function and provide strategic advice on behalf of the organisation on all people management issues. This position will be a blended approach with home & office working from the Fluid HQ located in St Austell.

Core Purpose

To oversee and manage the company's HR & CPD processes in accordance with the staff development and performance management policies.

To ensure the CPD process assists the various offices in developing their practices and enriches the quality of the service-focus ethos of the whole Company.

To sustain motivation and continuous learning amongst the whole company personnel, encouraging an ethos of ongoing development to create a superior customer journey.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the senior management team around HR, development, welfare, recruitment, training and performance management
  • Proactively promote and lead activities to contribute to adoption of company values in action and positive office culture within the organisation.
  • To contribute at both a strategic and operational level to identify HR and Learning and Development priorities and how they fit with wider organisational objectives.
  • To provide overall management and strong leadership of the HR business functions and staff, including advice and direction where needed on work priorities, budget and staff resources, strategic and policy issues.
  • Develop, promote, and implement opportunities for staff professional development.
  • Ongoing review and continuous improvement of Fluid’s Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), staff benefits and non-pay packages.
  • Manage a CPD strategy that ensures all involved in the Company have equality of access to high‐quality induction training and continuing support and development – this includes delivery of training, ongoing assessment and accountability.
  • Organise and carry out an effective auditing, reporting and identification of the Company’s CPD needs and those of the employees and advising colleagues on the effective identification of their own needs ensuring that they have opportunities to clarify their training and development needs through Performance Management and 1-2-1 appraisals.
  • Organise a range of types of quality internal & external training provision which is personalised to the needs of individuals, allows the company to develop skills and competencies progressively especially those identified in the appropriate CPD Policy.
  • Communicate and update opportunities to appropriate colleagues
  • Produce appropriate monitoring records about individual and whole company CPD uptake and resource expenditure
  • Organise and administer a reliable and explicit evaluation of the quality and impact of CPD provision.
  • Organise effective dissemination of good and successful practice to ensure that such practice is embedded and reinforced
  • Advise and contribute to the obtaining of appropriate quality standards in organisations that support effective CPD, eg. Investors in People, Bcorp, ISO 9001/14001

Other Responsibilities

  • The development of the Company Culture – being purpose led, and Fluid Family orientated -Management of the Fluid Branding Facebook Workplace platform and facilitating other internal communications
  • To assist liaison with other training establishments in order to promote the continuity of learning, progression and personal developments.
  • Assist the Directors in leading and developing the Company.
  • Play a major role under the overall direction of the Operations Director in formulating and reviewing the HR & CPD Plan and the aims and objectives of the Company by:
    • establishing the policies through which they shall be achieved
    • leading and developing colleagues and resources to that end
    • facilitating progress towards their achievement.
